About Patrick

Patrick Belics is a filmmaker living in Chicago, IL.

As a filmmaker, he wrote, directed, produced The Single Line Theory, a short film that played at 6 film festivals across the globe. He also produced, wrote, and directed the short film Play Along and directed various other projects for producers in the city of Chicago. Throughout 2022 and 2023, Patrick's short "Reservations" toured festivals across the globe. You can watch and read more about those projects on his selected works page.

Most recently, Patrick wrapped production as Director of Photography on "This is Our City" a feature film comedy about the Las Vegas Mob. Due for release in 2025, he shot, edited, and colored the production.

Patrick graduated with B.F.A. in Acting from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and quickly dived into directing and producing after starting Spartan Theatre Company in Chicago, IL. As Artistic Director, he produced and/or directed 14 different productions over a 5 year period before transitioning to film.
